For decades, the Land Use Team at Hirschler Fleischer has dominated in the Richmond metropolitan area. The five members of our Land Use Team who are primarily involved in land use and zoning work represent challenging projects in a community where ten or fewer attorneys devote substantially all of their time to such matters. In addition, our Fredericksburg office provides our clients in that area with land use services.
Our land use lawyers understand the development process from the gleam in a developer's eye to turning on the lights. As local governments provide increasing challenges in the zoning and permitting process, our attorneys know how to get it done. We actively participate as an advocate for the development community when new ordinances or policies are initiated. To that end, we have created The Weinberg Land Use Forum, the goal of which is to promote quality development and viable communities through constructive dialogue between the development community and state and local governments.
We are recognized as the leading land use group in Central Virginia, with a number of our attorneys being Fellows in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and routinely included in The Best Lawyers in America anthology.
