In an article published by the Society for Human Resource Management on Nov. 10, 2016, Andy Sherrod provides insight on the importance of training seasonal employees to ensure compliance with the law, especially under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Sherrod explains, “One creative and cost-effective way to ensure that the appropriate policies are effectively communicated to the employees is to provide training sessions by pre-recorded video.” He adds, “Employees can participate by logging onto a company website to watch the training video.
