Charles F. “Rick” Witthoefft is chair of the Firm’s litigation section and a member of the Board of Directors.
He began his career with Hirschler Fleischer in 1972 and has served the firm as President and Executive Vice
President. Mr. Witthoefft is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America
for commercial litigation, and has been recognized by Chambers USA as a leading lawyer for business litigation.
Mr. Witthoefft has over 30 years of varied trial experience in state and federal courts, representing both plaintiffs
and defendants in complex commercial cases involving contract, business tort, antitrust, securities, banking, RICO,
liability insurance, landlord-tenant, land use, professional liability, employment, utilities law, administrative law,
trust and estate and environmental law issues.
